BottleRock Announces The Specials For This Year’s WIlliams Sonoma Culinary Stage

NAPA, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers for the Napa Valley-based Bottlerock Festival, announced the lineup for the festival’s culinary stage, with Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi, Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Travel Channel’s Zimmern leading the bill.

“The Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage, just like the entire BottleRock festival, celebrates the best of what can happen when food and music come together,” said Janet Hayes, president of Williams Sonoma, said in a presser.

In past years, the culinary stage has seen the likes of Martha Stewart cooking with rapper Macklemore, and last year, rapper Snoop Dogg broke a World Record for making the world’s biggest gin & juice with Michael Voltaggio, owner of the trendy Los Angeles restaurant Ink.

This year, the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage will feature musicians Alice Cooper, Tisha Yearwood, Questlove, Tré Cool, Michael Franti, Ben McKee , Daniel Platzman, Taylor Hawkins, and Too $hort, alongside sports figures such as Ken Griffey Jr., Marshawn Lynch and Jake Peavy, and actors Jeff Goldblum and Kristian “Hodor” Nairn.

VIP passes for the 2019 festival are sold out, but limited 3-day and single-day general admission passes are available at the festival’s website. The festival is scheduled to take place from May 24 – May 26 at the Napa Valley Expo in Napa, California.

Spotify To Remove India’s Saregama Catalog Amid Copyright Infringement Lawsuit

INDIA (CelebrityAccess) – Global music streaming giant Spotify has agreed to remove all works belonging to India’s oldest record label, Saregama, from its platform within the next 10 days. The decision follows a copyright infringement suit against Spotify brought by Saregama and heard by Delhi’s High Court. In the lawsuit, which is available for viewing here , Saregama claims that, although it entered into negotiations with Spotify for a copyright license and permitted Spotify to upload its content a month ahead of the platform’s launch in India, the two parties never actually finalized their deal. Subsequently, Saregama, alleges that it requested Spotify block all of its work on the app, however, the streaming platform had not complied until now. Established in 1901, Saregama is India’s oldest record label and music publishing company.
