Nicolas Cage Seeks Annulment Four Days After Marriage

LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) Actor Nicolas Cage is seeking an annulment from Erika Koike, a makeup artist he married in Las Vegas on Saturday, the same day they applied for a marriage license.

The marriage appeared to be impulsive with Cage looking like he “may have had a drink or two” at the time, according to TMZ, and, on Wednesday, he asked a judge for an order to annul the nuptials. TMZ had obtained photos of the couple leaving the Bellagio hotel Saturday night and they were “clearly not happy with each other,” with eyewitnesses saying she was yelling at him.

TMZ obtained the annulment docs and “they are really something,” with him saying he and Erika were wasted when they decided to get married.

“[Erika] suggested to [Nic] that they should marry, [Nic] reacted on impulse and without the ability to recognize or understand the full impact of his actions.”

He said that the marriage was a fraud and Erika, whom he began dating last year, didn’t disclose “the full nature and extent of her relationship with another person,” nor her criminal history.

In 2016, at the Aria Hotel along the Strip, Cage and Vince Neil from Motley Crue – apparently after a heavy night of drinking – got into a scuffle after an incident involving a fan wanting Cage’s autograph and Neil attempting to stop it by grabbing her hair and pulling her to the ground. He was cited for battery and disorderly conduct.

Cage has been married, oft-times briefly, on three other occasions to Alice Kim, Lisa Marie Presley and Patricia Arquette.
