Live Nation Earns Another Perfect Score For LGBTQ Equality By The Human Rights Campaign

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation Entertainment has been recognized as a top workplace in the US for LGBTQ equality by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, the educational arm of the civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people.

For the second year in a row, Live Nation earned a perfect score of 100 on HRC’s Corporate Equality Index, which benchmarks organizations on a variety of criteria that includes: transgender benefits & wellness, domestic partner benefits, cultural engagement, corporate and employee policies, learning and development, and public engagement with the LTBGTQ community.

“The top-scoring companies on this year’s CEI are not only establishing policies that affirm and include employees here in the United States, they are applying these policies to their global operations and impacting millions of people beyond our shores,” said HRC President Chad Griffin.

The recognition comes amidst a broader push at Live Nation to create a healthy working environment for the company’s employees. Earlier this month, Live Nation appointed industry veteran Ali Harnell to oversee a newly created division focused on women’s initiatives at the promoter giant.

Live Nation has also been recognized as one ofLinkedIn’s Top Companies, Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune’s Future 50, a certified Great Place to Work, as well as the top donor to veteran’s organization Vet Tix.
