AEG Partners With Postmates To Bring In App Concession Orders To Coachella

LOS ANGELES, (CelebrityAccess) — AEG Presents and food delivery app Postmates today announced an exclusive, multi-year partnership to bring Postmates Pickup technology to the promoter’s marquee event, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The partnership will allow customers to order food, beverages and merch from the festival’s concessions through the festival’s mobile app and have their order available for pickup.

After the order is placed, the customer will receive a pickup time and text notification when the order is ready, allowing said order to be retrieved from a designated Postmates Pickup points located throughout the festival.

At larger festivals like Coachella, AEG Presents will deploy commissary kitchens dedicated to preparing Postmates orders to ensure shorter wait times.

AEG Presents will also launch Postmates Pickup at this year’s Stagecoach: California’s Country Music Festival, Hangout Festival, Electric Forest, Mo Pop Festival, Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival and more, the company said.

“Technology plays an increasingly important role in improving the overall experience at music festivals, and it’s paramount to all that we do at AEG Presents,” said Brooke Michael Kain, chief digital officer at AEG Presents.

“We are helping fans spend less time waiting in lines and more time enjoying the music by partnering with innovative companies like Postmates to solve problems like these,” added Andrew Klein, managing director at AEG Presents Global Partnerships.
