Hilton Honors Unveils 2019 Concert Series

MCLEAN, Va. (CelebrityAccess) Hilton Honors has announced an expanded lineup for its members in 2019, including the Hilton Honors Concert Series produced in partnership and including acts like WAlk The Moon, Jake Owen, Jessy J, and Portugal. The Man.

The concert series kicks off March 1 with a private performance by Walk The Moon at one of Hilton’s newest luxury properties, the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas.

“Building off what we’ve offered our members over the past few years, we’re thrilled to introduce an incredible array of new experiences in 2019. We know members want to use their Points for the greatest ‘return on experience’, and we’re able offer even more this year by working with our hotels and best-in-class partners,” said Mark Weinstein, senior vice president and global head of customer engagement, loyalty and partnerships at Hilton.  “Whether it’s free nights at luxury hotels and resorts in places like the Maldives, Bali or Bora Bora, exclusive racing experiences around the world with McLaren or concerts featuring chart-topping artists through our partnership with Live Nation, we want to give our members the chance to fulfill the experiences they’ve always dreamed.”

This year’s concert series is curated specifically for Hilton Honors members by Live Nation, based on members’ musical interests and artist preferences. The program has more than 14 million new members in 2018, bringing the total to 85 million. It has seen an increase of nearly 50 percent.

2019 Hilton Honors Concert Series performances include:

  • WALK THE MOON: March 1, Waldorf Astoria, Las Vegas 
  • Jake Owen:May 16, The Rustic, Houston
  • Jessie J: June 15, Abbey Road Studios, London
  • Brett Young:September 12, Country Music Hall of Fame, Nashville
  • Portugal. The Man: October 11, The Troubadour, Los Angeles
  • Fitz and the Tantrums: November 8, Conrad Washington, DC

MGM Official Notes In Copperfield Trial Report Of Accident Includes No Witness Statements

LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) Risk manager for the MGM Grand Hotel Mark Habersack recently testified in the trial against David Copperfield, who is being sued by a British tourist who claims he was injured during one of Copperfield’s tricks, that he does not know why an incident report on the accident did not include accounts from witnesses. Gavin Cox claims that, during a November 2013 Copperfield performance at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, he fell backstage and was rushed to the hospital, eventually costing him $400,000 in medical bills. Cox was one of 13 audience members who performed in a trick called “13” where he and 12 others disappear from the stage and reappear in the back of the audience. The volunteers were hurried through indoor hallways and an outdoor alleyway to make the reappearance. Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
