George Benson, Trombone Shorty, Norah Jones Lead The Bill For Annual Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (CelebrityAccess) — Saratoga Performing Arts Center announced the lineup for the 42nd annual Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival, with jazz legend George Benson, Norah Jones, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue leading the bill.

The two-day jazz-focused music fest is scheduled to take place on June 29 & 30, with both a main stage and the Charles R. Wood “Jazz Discovery” Stage.

Festival producer Danny Melnick told local news outlet WAMC that he was pleased with the diversity of this year’s lineup.

“We’re gonna go up there, we’re gonna have a great time, we’re gonna learn a lot, we’re gonna be entertained, we’re gonna see some stars, we’re gonna hear some new people,” he told the publication.

Other artists announced for the festival include Kandace Spring, the James Carter Organ Trio, Los Van Van’s 50th Anniversary, Mercy Project, Donna Grantis and more.

Tickets will be available online beginning on February 4 at 10 am to SPAC members and starting on February 15 at 10 am to the general public.

Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
