Springsteen Releases ’79 ‘No Nukes’ Concert Audio

(CelebrityAccess) Bruce Springsteen has released the recording of his two performances at 1979’s “No Nukes” performance at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Sept. 21 show featured the live debut of the song “The River” prior to the release of the double-album of the same name. It also features a cover of Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs’ “Stay, and special guests Jackson Browne, Rosemary Butler and Tom Petty.

The shows were organized by Browne, Graham Nash, Bonnie Raitt and John Hall under the name Musicians United For Safe Energy.
