Spotify’s Vanja Primorac Joins UTA As A Music Innovator

LOS ANGELES, CA (CelebrityAccess) – Talent and entertainment company, United Talent Agency announced the hire of Vanja Primorac as an executive focused on Music Innovations.

In this newly created role, she will identify and create marketing, distribution, and platform partnership deals for UTA’s client roster.

“UTA is taking a holistic approach to their artist partnerships and I’m excited to start the next chapter of my career with the incredible team they have in place. It’s tricky to break through the noise in today’s competitive music landscape and together, we can develop innovative partnerships and campaigns that can move the needle,” Primorac said of her new gig.

Previously, Primorac was an Artist Marketing Representative at Spotify where she worked with managers, independent and major labels, advising on streaming strategies and developing marketing campaigns.

Her collaborations at Spotify included projects with developing and established artists such as LANY, J. Cole, Mumford & Sons, AlunaGeorge, Mike Posner and Calvin Harris.

She also led Spotify’s “Louder Together” campaign which featured Sasha Sloan, Nina Nesbitt, Charlotte Lawrence and King Henry.

Prior to Spotify, she worked with Sean Combs helping to develop and launch his music cable channel RevoltTV, including developing content, producing artist-driven interstitials, and leading production on all of their co-branded content.

Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
