Jess Keeley-Carter, Former Facebook Exec, Joins Warner Music in Global Digital Role

LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Warner Music Group has today announced that former Facebook exec Jess Keeley-Carter will be joining the WMG family.

Keeley-Carter, who will be based in London, has been appointed senior vice president of global digital marketing, recorded music for WMG, and will be responsible for developing innovative, cross-territory strategies for the label’s roster.

She comes to the role from Facebook, where she oversaw label partnerships for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to that she also worked for Universal Music Group.

Commenting on the appointment, Jeremy Marsh, chief global marketing officer, recorded music at WMG, said: “Jess is one of the most forward-thinking, creative young execs at the intersection of entertainment and tech. She has genuine insight into how fans share, influence, and evangelize so that great music cascades across the globe.

“In today’s environment, it’s essential that we take a worldwide view of an artist’s career from day one,” he adds. “Jess will be an invaluable addition to our talented central marketing team, which is a powerful catalyst in igniting the passions of fans everywhere.”

Keeley-Carter will join WMG effective January 14, 2019.

Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
