Willie Nelson To Be Honored By Recording Academy’s Producers & Engineers Wing

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – The Recording Academy’s Producers & Engineers Wing will be honoring Willie Nelson in the days leading up to the 2019 Grammy Awards, according to The Associated Press.

Nelson, who has won eight Grammys throughout his career, will see his achievements celebrated on February 6, 2019, at The Village Studios in Los Angeles.

Commenting on the forthcoming celebration, Academy President and CEO, Neil Portnow, said statement: “Willie Nelson has inspired generations of musicians and fans, and continues to set precedents of excellence within the music community.”

Past honorees include Quincy Jones, T Bone Burnett, Alicia Keys and Neil Young.

The 61st annual Grammy Awards will air live February 10 on CBS.
