Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets Announce North American Run

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Pink Floyd co-founder and drummer Nick Mason and his new group Saucerful Of Secrets, announced they will be heading out for their first tour of North America in early 2019.

This tour marks Pink Floyd co-founder and drummer Nick Mason’s first performances in North America since Pink Floyd’s July 18, 1994 concert at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey as part of the Division Bell Tour.

“With the help of some like-minded friends, I have embarked on a voyage of discovery of the music that was the launch pad of Pink Floyd and my working life,” says Mason. “It seems too early to retire, and I missed the interaction with other musicians.”

Named after Pink Floyd’s second studio album, Saucerful Of Secrets features Nick Mason, along with Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp, longtime Pink Floyd touring bassist Guy Pratt, guitarist Lee Harris, and keyboardist Dom Beken.

The group will perform cuts from early Floyd albums, including material from ‘The Piper At The Gates of Dawn’ and, of course, ‘A Saucerful Of Secrets.’

The tour kicks off on March 12 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver and carries through April, when the group is scheduled to perform at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. on April 22nd.

Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets North American Tour is presented by Live Nation Global Touring, & S2BN Entertainment by arrangement with Solo and Tony Smith Personal Management.
