Live Nation Announces Moderators For Michelle Obama’s Book Tour

CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation and Crown Publishing, a part of Penguin Random House, have now announced the list of moderators for former First Lady Michelle Obama’s upcoming arena tour.

The tour will hit ten arenas across North America in support of Michelle Obama’s forthcoming memoir Becoming, which is due in your favorite bookstore in Nov. 13th. The tour will feature Mrs. Obama sharing reflections on the experiences and events, both public and private, that have shaped her, from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work, to her years spent at the most famous address in the world.

When the tour hits the Obamas hometown of Chicago, the event will be moderated by the noted talk show host and actor Oprah Winfrey. Other tour events will be moderated by such notable figures as Elizabeth Alexander (11/25 and 12/1), Valerie Jarrett (11/17 and 12/17), Michele Norris (11/24 and 12/14), Sarah Jessica Parker (12/19), Phoebe Robinson (11/29 and 12/11), Tracee Ellis Ross (11/15), and Reese Witherspoon (12/13).

Last week, Mrs. Obama and Live Nation announced a selection of the local and community organizations who will receive free admission to Mrs. Obama’s tour. A

s previously announced, 10 percent of ticket inventory in each market was set aside for various organizations including, but not limited to, charities, schools, and community groups in each city the tour visits. Thousands of tickets will be given away.

Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
