Christof Zogg Tapped To Helm Switzerland’s Starticket

ZURICH (CelebrityAccess) — Swedish event ticketing platform Starticket announced the appointment of Christof Zogg to lead the company, effective January 1st.

Zogg previously served as the Director Digital Business for the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) for four years, where he was responsible for developing the transportation organization’s digital sales and ticketing platform and leading SBB’s digital marketing and sales teams.

Before joining SBB, he worked for eight years in various roles for Microsoft Switzerland, most recently as Director Developer & Platform Group and Member of the Executive Board.

“Christof Zogg has successfully promoted digital sales at SBB and, with his sound experience in the field of digital business, has the best qualifications to further strengthen Starticket as a service provider. On behalf of Tamedia’s management, I wish him a good start and expect us, together with our customers and partners, to continue the success story of Starticket, “says Samuel Hügli, Member of the Executive Committee and Head of Technology & Investments of Tamedia.

Zogg is stepping into the role vacated by former CEO Stefan Riedel, who exited the company in May.

Founded in 2003, Starticket has become one of the leading ticketing services in Switzerland, with a network of 1500 ticket agencies, call centers and directly via their website at starticket.ch.

Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
