Yup, Neil & Daryl Got Hitched

ATASCADERO, Calif. (CelebrityAccess) The rumored wedding of Neil Young and Daryl Hannah took place in San Luis Obispo last Friday, but it’s only now receiving confirmation.

Young and Hannah were married in Atascadero, Calif, a few hours west of Fresno and Bakersfield where Neil Young & Crazy Horse played some recent shows. The ceremony was top secret to keep the paparazzi away, according to the New York Post.

Joni Mitchell and Stephen Stills were in attendance (Hannah was a divisive topic between the members of CSN&Y). Young serenaded his bride with “Harvest Moon.”

There were approximately 100 invited guests that were each provided a heart-shaped locket containing photos of the bride and groom.

Guests received a list of nearby hotels but were told, “Please note the hotels do not have information about the event, so please only contact them to book a room (and do not mention anything about the event).” A wedding planner also told them, “Everyone will be asked to leave their phones and cameras at the hotel,” according to the Post.

Hannah, 57, who has been romantically linked to John F. Kennedy Jr. and Jackson Browne, has been seeing Young, 72, for about four years, after Young split from his wife of 36 years, Pegi, and was in attendance at the recent Fresno performance, videotaping it from near the stage.

The Mirror was the first to report the event. The story was preceded by a report that there was a separate ceremony on Young’s yacht near the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington state. The date of that wedding ceremony is yet to be shared by anyone who was in attendance, according to Vanity Fair.
