Steve Ackles, Anna Plumley Join The Live Nation Team

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Billboard is reporting that Steve Ackles has been named as senior director of touring and Anna Plumley as senior director of marketing for the company’s North American touring unit.

Both come to the Live Nation team from AEG Presents and together, bring more than 20 years of experience to their new roles.

Ackles will help oversee national stadium and arena tours in North America, while Plumley will oversee marketing for a variety of artists, including tours for Live Nation’s newly-acquired Frank Productions, Billboard reported.

“With the expansion of our touring team, Live Nation is able to service an even wider breadth of artists and help them cultivate the best live experience for their fans,” said Bob Roux, President of U.S. Concerts in a statement. “Steve and Anna have already hit the ground running and we’re thrilled to have them on our team.”

Ackles got his start in the industry as a concert promoter in New England. In 2011, he joined Bowery Presents as a talent buyer and transitioned to AEG in 2012. Since then, he’s overseen national tours for the promoter, including A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, and Migos.

Plumley began her careerwith Nederlander Concerts, where she handled marketing for both concerts and touring broadwa productions. In 2007, she joined Goldenvoice/AEG Presents, where she oversaw marketing for Club Nokia and the Fox Theatre Pomona.

Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
