Bobby Bones Promoted to VP, Creative Director of iHeartCountry

(CelebrityAccess) – Bobby Bones has been promoted to VP, creative director of iHeartCountry.

Bones, who is best known as the host of the radio shows The Bobby Bones Show, Country Top 30 with Bobby Bones, and the podcast BobbyCast, will continue to preside over all three shows in addition to working with iHeartMedia on new programming initiatives.

He’ll also be adding a brand new show to his roster called Women of iHeartCountry, which will be co-hosted by Amy Brown and will feature weekly guest appearances from other women working as on-air personalities at iHeartMedia.

“Country continues to be one of the fastest-growing music formats and Bobby is the leading on air personality connecting with Country fans across multiple platforms nationwide,” said iHeartMedia Chairman and CEO Bob Pittman. “He has created a relatable, fun and engaging brand of entertainment that drives unmatched results for our advertising and partners. In 2017, Bones became the youngest person to be inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.

Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
