Larry Gatlin Wants His Stuff Back

NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Country artist Larry Gatlin, the eldest of the famed Gatlin Brothers, won a Grammy Award for “Best Country Song” in 1977 for his hit “Broken Lady.” Now he wants it back.

In an interview with The Tennessean, Gatlin revealed that the trophy was stolen from his branded Gatlin Bros. Music City restaurant in the Mall of America in the 1990s, and now he’s seeking its return.

Gatlin has promised a cash reward for the safe return of the statue and has promised not to press charges against the malefactor.

“I’ll give you a written statement that I won’t prosecute you,” Gatlin told The Tennessean’s Cindy Watts. “You can just say you bought it at a pawn shop.”

As well, Gatlin is also seeking the return of a long leather jacket that was stolen from a car in Las Vegas. The coat is unique and features embroidery with Gatlin’s name on the lining.

Anyone with knowledge of the items is invited to email assistant@absolutepublicity.com to make arrangements to discuss arrangements for their return.
