DEAG Acquires Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival

INVERNESS, Scotland (CelebrityAccess) — German entertainment company Deutsche Entertainment AG announced that they have acquired a 100% stake in the Scottish Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival through its London-based subsidiary Kilimanjaro Live.

The move comes days after DEAG announced it planned to focus on expanding its live business in the UK.

“As part of our strategy, we focus not only on Germany, but also on the growth market of the UK,” said DEAG CEO/Founder Peter Schwenkow. “By participating in the established Belladrum festival in Scotland through our subsidiary Kilimanjaro Live Limited, we have further improved our requirements in order to In this market, Belladrum has generated a consistently positive operating result – a very central criterion for us – and we expect this acquisition to provide a positive impetus for our ticket platform myticket.co.uk. ”

A popular music and arts festival, Belladrum is staged annually on the grounds of the Belladrum Estate near Inverness, in Scotland.

Founded in 2004, the festival has been a consistent hot ticket, selling out annually since 2009, with a lineup that ranges from indie rockers such as Bastille and Catfish to established singer-songwriters such as Ed Sheeran.

The festival already has a connection with John Giddings’ Kilimanjaro, who has exclusively handled booking for the festival for the past eight years.

The 2018 edition of the festival is set to take place from August 2nd to August 4th, with headliners Primal Scream, Amy McDonald, and Paloma Faith.

MGM Official Notes In Copperfield Trial Report Of Accident Includes No Witness Statements

LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) Risk manager for the MGM Grand Hotel Mark Habersack recently testified in the trial against David Copperfield, who is being sued by a British tourist who claims he was injured during one of Copperfield’s tricks, that he does not know why an incident report on the accident did not include accounts from witnesses. Gavin Cox claims that, during a November 2013 Copperfield performance at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, he fell backstage and was rushed to the hospital, eventually costing him $400,000 in medical bills. Cox was one of 13 audience members who performed in a trick called “13” where he and 12 others disappear from the stage and reappear in the back of the audience. Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
