Alessia Cara, Halsey, and Marshmello ft. Anne-Marie Announced As First Performers For IHEARTRADIO MMVAs ’18

TORONTO, ON (CelebrityAccess) – The iHeartRadio MMVAS has today (June 28) announced its first round of performers for the 2018 edition of the show.

Canada’s iconic music awards show welcomes back to the stage 2017 MMVA co-host and hometown girl, Alessia Cara, and features first-time MMVA performances from Halsey and Marshmello ft. Anne-Marie.

Scheduled to take place Sunday, August 26 at 9 p.m. ET, the show will be simulcast on CTV, MTV, and Much.

Additionally, the full, star-studded event will be livestreamed on CTV.ca, CTV GO, Much.com and via Twitter. For the second consecutive year, fans can also livestream the event via the iHeartRadio app, iHeartRadio.ca, and across nine Virgin Radio stations in Toronto, Kitchener, London, Halifax, Montréal, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Additional artists will be announced in the coming months.

Roc Nation Sues Insurance Carrier Regarding Jordan Feldstein’s Death

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Roc Nation has reportedly filed a lawsuit against its insurance carrier and is seeking $11 million regarding the death of Maroon 5 manager Jordan Feldstein. Roc Nation, a joint venture of Jay-Z and Live Nation Entertainment partnered with Feldstein’s Career Artist Management in 2016 and took out a “key man” life insurance policy with HCC International Insurance to protect its investment with the music manager, according to  Variety . Roc Nation claims that, after Feldstein died Dec. 22, 2017 because of a blood clot in his let, HCC was slow in evaluating the claim and finally determined the payout would $1.2 million; the policy carried a liability limit of $12.5 million, according to Roc Nation’s lawsuit.
