Lollapalooza Expands Global Family With Addition of Lollapalooza Stockholm 2019

STOCKHOLM, SWE (CelebrityAccess) Lollapalooza has today announced the latest addition to its global family with Lollapalooza Stockholm, which is scheduled to take place June 28-29, 2019 at Gärdet.

Stockholm becomes the sixth international edition of the world-class festival, alongside Santiago, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Berlin and Paris. According to a release from Live Nation, the inaugural Lollapalooza Stockholm will feature four stages, innovative culinary selections, art, and more.

“The historic Gärdet and the iconic festival Lollapalooza are the perfect match. For decades we have been wanting to do a really big festival in Stockholm and we are very honored and excited to do this together with Charles Attal and his team at C3 Presents,” said Thomas Johansson, Chairman International Music, Live Nation. “Welcome to Stockholm, Lollapalooza!”

Lollapalooza Stockholm is produced by Perry Farrell, WME, C3 Presents and Live Nation Sweden with their subsidiary company Luger – the award-winning organization behind Swedish festivals such as Way Out West and Åre Sessions.

Spotify To Remove India’s Saregama Catalog Amid Copyright Infringement Lawsuit

INDIA (CelebrityAccess) – Global music streaming giant Spotify has agreed to remove all works belonging to India’s oldest record label, Saregama, from its platform within the next 10 days. The decision follows a copyright infringement suit against Spotify brought by Saregama and heard by Delhi’s High Court. In the lawsuit, which is available for viewing here , Saregama claims that, although it entered into negotiations with Spotify for a copyright license and permitted Spotify to upload its content a month ahead of the platform’s launch in India, the two parties never actually finalized their deal. Subsequently, Saregama, alleges that it requested Spotify block all of its work on the app, however, the streaming platform had not complied until now.
