Florence + The Machine Announce North American Leg of World Tour

LOS ANGELES, CA (CelebrityAccess) – Florence + The Machine have today (May 29) confirmed a 23 city North American fall headline tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick off August 5 in Montreal, QC and includes stops at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl and New York’s Barclays Center.

Florence + The Machine’s widely anticipated fourth studio album High As Hope—co-produced by Florence and Emile Haynie and featuring contributions from Kamasi Washington, Sampha, Tobias Jesso Jr, Kelsey Lu and Jamie xx—is out June 29 on Republic Records.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, June 1 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com.

Spotify To Remove India’s Saregama Catalog Amid Copyright Infringement Lawsuit

INDIA (CelebrityAccess) – Global music streaming giant Spotify has agreed to remove all works belonging to India’s oldest record label, Saregama, from its platform within the next 10 days. The decision follows a copyright infringement suit against Spotify brought by Saregama and heard by Delhi’s High Court. In the lawsuit, which is available for viewing here , Saregama claims that, although it entered into negotiations with Spotify for a copyright license and permitted Spotify to upload its content a month ahead of the platform’s launch in India, the two parties never actually finalized their deal. Subsequently, Saregama, alleges that it requested Spotify block all of its work on the app, however, the streaming platform had not complied until now.
