LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Dave Matthews Band celebrated their seventh consecutive No. 1 album with a plaque presented to them in New York City while they were in town performing on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
With their recently released album Come Tomorrow, Dave Matthews Band has become the first group in history to have seven consecutive studio albums debut at No. 1.
The Billboard 200 topping album earned 292,017 equivalent album units in the week ending June 14. Of that total, 285,000 were in traditional album sales – marking the biggest sales week for a rock album in more than four years.
